The three-bedroom pool house in Fort Pierce
If you want three bedrooms in Fort Pierce, the home to look at is the Cozy Coastal Fort Pierce Private Pool Home. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, sleeps six, a single-family house with a screened pool in the back and dogs welcome. It is the only three-bedroom in our Fort Pierce collection, which makes this an unusually short recommendation, so the rest of this page is about whether it's right for your trip and what to do if your group has outgrown it.
What you actually get at the Cozy Coastal house
The pool is the reason people book it and the screen over the pool is the reason they come back. Florida evenings outdoors are a negotiation with the bugs, and a screened lanai settles the argument before it starts. You can eat dinner out there at the outdoor dining table after a beach day without anyone slapping their ankles.
Beds run king, queen, and a twin daybed with a trundle in the third room, which is why six is the honest number rather than a stretch. Two bathrooms for six people is the ratio that decides whether mornings work. There's a crib in the house, a washer and dryer, a grill, and a blender, which between them cover roughly ninety percent of what a family with small children actually needs from a rental kitchen and laundry.
Worth knowing before you arrive: there's an RV parked on the property. Nobody lives in it and it isn't part of the rental. The pool technician and the landscaper come by during the day, stay outside, and don't go into the house.
Families, friends, pets, and people who still have to log on
Six adults will fit, but the room layout points this house at a family or two couples with kids rather than six friends who all want their own space. The king and the queen do the heavy lifting, the daybed room suits children. Dogs are welcome, which in Fort Pierce matters more than people expect: a fenced backyard with a screened pool means the dog has somewhere to be while you're swimming.
For remote workers, the house has a dedicated workspace and Wi-Fi, and long-term stays are allowed, so a winter month here is a real option rather than a negotiation. The dedicated-desk detail is the one I'd weigh: working from a kitchen table for a week is fine, working from one for a month is not.
Practical notes that come up every booking: free parking plus street parking, luggage drop-off before check-in is allowed, and there's a laundromat nearby for the week your beach towels get out of hand.
When your group is bigger than six
Two Fort Pierce homes take over where the three-bedroom stops, and they're nothing alike.
Sunrise Social House has five bedrooms and is built for a group that wants to be loud together. Private pool with a cabana daybed, a fire pit outside, and a game room with air hockey, billiards and table tennis on a rotating three-in-one table. The main home holds four bedrooms, and there's a detached guest house behind the pool with its own small bathroom and kitchenette. That guest house bathroom is genuinely compact, smaller than anything in the main house, so put the guests who'll shower inside out there. It's near downtown, close to the Sunrise Theatre, the city marina and the Saturday farmers market, with Jetty Park and Fort Pierce Inlet State Park a short drive on. It's also a new listing, so introductory pricing is running while the first guests come through.
McCarty Mansion is the opposite temperament: seven bedrooms and six bathrooms on Indian River Drive, nearly two acres running down to the water, a heated pool, a sauna, and a private dock with quick ocean access through the Fort Pierce Inlet. Two boat lifts are available to rent. There's a playground on the property and a detached guest house with two more bedrooms. If somebody in your group is bringing a boat or chartering one, this is a different kind of trip from the start: you leave from your own dock instead of a ramp.
And in the middle, Casita del Sol, four bedrooms a short distance from downtown, with a fire pit and outdoor seating in the backyard and a workspace indoors. Bedrooms run king, queen, two twins, and a room of full-over-full bunks, which is a lot of children in one place if that's your situation.
Count beds, not bedrooms
Bedroom count is a shorthand that fails badly in Florida rentals, because the bunk rooms do so much of the work. The Cozy Coastal house is a clean case: three bedrooms, four beds, six people, and the numbers line up with what you'd picture. Casita del Sol has four bedrooms but nine beds. Sunrise Social House has five bedrooms and fourteen beds, with one room sleeping seven on its own.
So before you filter by bedrooms, work out two things: how many people need a door that closes, and how many are happy on a bunk. A group of six adults who all want privacy is a harder brief than a family of eight with four children. The three-bedroom house answers the first brief well for up to six. It cannot answer the second one, no matter how much floor space it has.
Stated capacities and sleeping arrangements do get updated, so check the current listing details for the dates you want.
Where this house sits in the Fort Pierce day
Fort Pierce rewards a house with a pool more than most Florida towns do, because the beach here is a destination rather than a doorstep. Fort Pierce Inlet State Park has a half-mile of Atlantic beach on one side and the calm water of Tucker Cove on the Indian River Lagoon on the other, with trails through the dunes and coastal hammock between them. Jetty Park sits right on the water. South Causeway Beach is shallow and the sand is close to the parking, which is why families end up there.
Up on North Hutchinson Island, the National Navy UDT-SEAL Museum on A1A sits a little past the state park and is closed Mondays. Downtown, Sailfish Brewing Company is on North 2nd Street, and Manatee Island Bar & Grill is out on Seaway Drive, open late enough most nights that a long afternoon in the pool doesn't cost you dinner. The St. Lucie County Aquarium is built around the Indian River Lagoon, which has around three thousand recorded species in it, more than any other estuary in the country.
Vero Beach is about twenty-five minutes north if you want a different stretch of sand for a day.

Booking it
Book direct with us and you're dealing with the people who manage the house, not a platform. Self check-in, 24/7 support if something goes sideways at nine on a Sunday, professional cleaning between stays, and a starter kit of the basics so you aren't buying dish soap on day one. This property requires a signed rental agreement and ID verification under local rules, handled through a simple website rather than an app, and that same portal carries the house details and our own list of local spots.
Pet policies, minimum stays and cancellation terms vary by home and by date, so check the current listing before you commit. If you're torn between the three-bedroom and one of the larger houses, message us with your numbers and we'll tell you which one actually fits.
